Alpaca Bouclé's fluffy puffy yarn is made up of loads of loops, making the knits light, soft and fluffy. Recommended for cardigans, sweaters, dresses, scarves, ponchos, also for fancy accessories like hats, scarves, neckwear. Pillowcases or blankets will also be irresistibly soft.

Alpaca Bouclé is a beautiful soft yarn made from Peruvian llama wool. The alpaca coat is not treated in any way (it does not undergo any form of chemical treatment before dyeing, only a normal wash). The natural properties of the fibre are thus highlighted and, in addition, this process gives it a better shape and structure.

"Bouclé" is French for "curls" and refers to the many tiny loops of pure alpaca that make up each ball. The central fibre is made up of a blend of wool and nylon, giving the yarn strength. DROPS Alpaca Bouclé is a 2-ply yarn and the combination of alpaca and the looped design has created an exceptionally soft and spectacular yarn with a wide range of uses. The knitted fabric is wonderfully light and fluffy.

The colouring book also contains mixed colour variants (so-called mix) - these are created by combining two or more coloured fibres during carding and are then spun as a single fibre with a typical multi-coloured "mixed" effect.
