Drops Cotton Lightis a blended yarn of cotton and polyester. Polyester gives the knitwear excellent shape stability and high durability, cotton gives lightness and breathability. Thanks to this, it can withstand regular machine washing, which you will appreciate on children's models. The fibre is round, made up of many fine threads that create an even knit with regular stitches. When crocheting, individual threads may split, so extra care is needed:-)
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (number 951032), Standard 100, Class I. This means that the yarn has been tested and found to be completely free of hazardous and harmful chemicals and can be used by people without fear. Class I is the highest level of certification that guarantees the safety of this yarn and its suitability for products for babies and young children (0-3 years). The cotton comes from Turkey, the polyester fibre from Spain.
