DROPS Daisyspun from 100% extra fine merino wool is a soft yarn without superwash treatment. The wool fibers used in this yarn are untreated, which means they are only washed before dyeingare not subjected to any chemical treatment. This emphasises the natural properties of wool,fibres breathe betterand provide better dimensional stability and texture quality.

Yarn DROPS Daisyis woven from 4 strands that give the yarn its extraordinary elasticity and create beautifully rendered stitches, especially suitable for braid, texture and bead patterns. This yarn is perfect for patterns originally designed in DROPS Karisma, DROPS Lima, DROPS Cotton Merino and DROPS Merino Extra Fine (from Yarn Group B).
The special construction of this yarn also makes itthe correct handling of the knitted fabric is extremely important:make sure that you follow the knitting instructions recommended in the test sample - knit thicker (i.e. tighter) rather than looser and follow the maintenance instructions.

Like all our other merino yarns, it comes frommerino woolfor the production of DROPS Daisy yarn from free-range animals from South America that are not exposed to mulesing.

This yarn has been awardedOeko-Tex® certificate(number 23.HPE.36896), Standard 100, Class II, issued by the Hohenstein Institute. This means that it has been tested for the presence of irritants and has been found safe in terms of its effects on humans and nature. Class II means that the yarn issuitable for direct skin contact, even in a large area, making it suitable for garments such as blouses, tops, T-shirts, etc.
