YarnKid-Silk Dropsis a blend of 75% kid mohair and 25% mulberry silk. It is a luxurious, airy and very fine pile yarn, which is recommended for lightweight knits such as lace shawls, shawls, capes, boleros or delicate sweaters and dresses. It can be used alone or combined with other yarns.

In addition to the solid colours, the colour book also contains striped colour variants.

Kid mohair is obtained by the first shearing of Angora goats. Most of the fibres are spun in a similar way to worsted wool. Angora breeding is historically documented going back about 3500 years. Mulberry silk, the so-called natural silk, which is obtained from silkworm castings, is a very fine textile fibre. A single cocoon can yield up to 800 m without breaking and can contain up to 4000 m in total. The first references to silk date back to 3000 BC.
