Afrohooks are the most used and popular earring components. It is a hook with a ring at the end, where you simply hang the finished earring or beads using a connecting ring or a kettle needle.
Pull the afro hook through the ear hole and you're done. They are available in different sizes and thicknesses.
It usually ends with a plastic stop that protects the earring and prevents it from falling out of the ear.
