Tumbled beads made of the synthetic mineral Avanturine gold (also known as sunstone).

Aventurine gold- it is a special synthetic variety of this mineral (i.e. its composition is very similar to natural aventurine, but it is man-made). Gold aventurine comes in three shades - the most common brown, the rarer dark green and the rarest dark blue.

Likesun stoneThe mineral is referred to because of the incredibly beautiful sparkle that the beads emit when light hits them. The more direct light that hits the bead, the more intense the sparkle.It is strongest on a clear sunny day - hence its common name.

This synthetically produced mineral cannot be confused with genuine natural sunstone. Gold aventurine only earned the name "sunstone" because of its beautiful golden shimmer when exposed to sunlight.
