YarnKid-Silk Dropsis a blend of 75% kid mohair and 25% mulberry silk. It is a luxurious, airy and very fine pile yarn, which is recommended for lightweight knits such as lace shawls, shawls, capes, boleros or delicate sweaters and dresses. It can be used alone or combined with other yarns.

Kid mohair is obtained by the first shearing of Angora goats. Most of the fibres are spun in a similar way to worsted wool. Angora breeding is historically documented going back about 3500 years.
