Ingredients:65% wool, 35% alpaca.

Weight/gauge:50 g / approx. 100 metres.

Recommended needle strength:4 mm.

Test sample:10 x 10 cm = 21 sts x 28 rows.

Suitable for felting.

Superwash:From

YarnDROPS Limais a tightly twisted 4-ply yarn, the knits are durable and warm. The composition of Drops Lima yarn is also 35% alpaca and 65% sheep wool. Both types of wool fibers do not undergo any special chemical treatment before actual dyeing, the wool is only washed and then goes through the normal dyeing process. The natural properties of the fibres are therefore preserved to the maximum extent, and their shape quality and structure are emphasised.

The yarn is more of a sport yarn, like one of the most popular yarns Drops Nepal. It is the ideal material for outdoor sweaters, knitted "Norwegian" patterns and combinations of embossed patterns.
This material blend enhances the softness of the alpaca, while the sheep wool gives the knit shape stability. A sporty yarn with a touch of luxury!
