Cordonet 50is an even finer version of this traditional crochet yarn. This extremely thin yarn is designed for really fine and detailed work where precision and lightness are key.
Cordonnet is very popular among crochet lovers. It is mainly used for creating delicate lace projects such as blankets, tablecloths, curtains, but also for smaller decorative items. Some people also use it to make lace jewellery or ornaments. This yarn is also great for fine embroidery as it allows you to create precise and detailed designs with clearly defined contours.
The yarn is produced byNietárna in Ceska Trebovawho spins and dyes it herself from high quality Egyptian raw cotton. The yarn is 100% cotton (i.e. natural) and products made from it can be ironed, washed up to 60 °C and tumble dried. Bleaching and cleaning is not recommended as it would disturb the structure of the fibres and the product would disintegrate over time.
Cordonet yarnis resistant to unraveling thanks to its strong structure, which ensures that the final product will retain its shape and quality for a long time.
The yarn is also suitable for bobbin lace.
