Dream yarn,these are amazing soft balls of genuine Australian merino wool.
Suitable for knitting for children and adults, from autumn to spring.
The knit is pleasant, soft, pliable and above all "non-biting". The material is unique for its thermoregulating and antibacterial properties.
Merino wool fibres keep you warm in winter and wick moisture away from the body in case of physical exertion. The fibre structure prevents the growth of bacteria.
Merino sheep are bred in South Africa, the USA, Argentina, Uruguay and Europe, but this wool comes from the plains and slopes of Australia and New Zealand and is considered to be of the highest quality. The sheep here live in temperatures of -30° to +30°, which is why their wool is dense but the fibre is thin and fine.
The yarn has a superwash finish, but we recommend a light hand wash to keep the product in good condition :-)
