The kettle rivet looks like a pin. It can have a flat, round or variously decorated head. Rivets have different lengths and diameters and can be shortened.

The use of rivets for kettling is very wide, but they are most often used in the production of cherubs, pendants and earrings.

For example, to make angels you will need beads, droppers, rivets, angel wings and round nose pliers.

String the bead, the dropper (the body of the angel) onto the rivet, string on the wings, another bead (the head) and use pliers to make an eyelet at the end of the rivet and hang the pendant.
